Canadian Cruise Lead Gen

Behind the form

Who reads your request and what they do next

Canadian Cruise Lead Gen passes your details to a service partner. They read your brief, follow up with questions and send a quote.

From request to launch

Most engagements follow the same four stages, whatever the channel.

  1. Request and scoping: you send the form, the service partner asks follow-up questions and you agree a written scope and quote.
  2. Access and audit: you add the partner as a user on your ad, analytics and tag accounts, and they check what is already set up.
  3. Build: campaigns, landing pages, forms and conversion tracking are prepared, and you approve copy and pages before anything goes live.
  4. Launch: tracking is tested with real form fills, campaigns are switched on and the first report date is set.

A buyer's scoping list

Use this to compare partners on the same terms.

  • Channels in scope, named one by one
  • Number of campaigns and landing pages included
  • Which conversions will be tracked, and how
  • Whether CRM or inbox routing is included
  • Reporting frequency and format
  • What is one-time setup and what is ongoing
  • Notice period and how access is handed back
  • Who owns pages, creative and copy once they are paid for

Your accounts, their access

You own the accounts, and the partner is given access to them. Ad accounts, pixels, tag containers, analytics properties and the data in them are registered to your business. The partner is added as a user through each platform's role settings, with admin rights only where setup needs them. When the work ends, you remove the partner's access and keep everything they built. If anyone asks you to open an account in their name, or to share a password, ask why before agreeing.

Ending the arrangement

Arrangements end for ordinary reasons: a season finishes, budgets change, or you bring the work in-house. Check the notice period in your agreement and give it in writing. Before the partner leaves, ask for a handover note covering campaign structure, conversion actions, tags and any tools on their account. Then remove their user access from your ad, analytics and tag accounts. Campaigns and data stay where they are, so whoever takes over next starts from the same history. If campaigns should keep running in the meantime, agree who watches spend until the handover is done.
